Welcome to Yuzuru Hanyu: In Summary.

This is a blog for fans of figure skating, figure skaters themselves, or even newcomers to the sport--but especially fans of Yuzuru Hanyu. At the end of every competitive season, I map out every performance by Yuzuru Hanyu over the course of that season, as well as any injuries or big changes he makes that could affect his skating. I also occasionally post guides to telling apart figure skating jumps and techniques.

 I chose Yuzuru Hanyu specifically to write about because he has had an interesting and triumphant career, and has pushed the competitive men's field forward in many ways, including technical elements, presentations, sportsmanship, and perseverance. I have a real and open appreciation for almost everyone on the sport, but I write this blog about Yuzuru Hanyu because he inspires me, and I think he could inspire many others, too.
